Marlin Raymond Heun

Marlin Raymond Heun, 65, of Weatherford, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 21, in Mansfield, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 26, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, at Annetta Cemetery.

Marlin was born on November 19, 1952, in Sac City, Iowa to Donald and Arlene Heun. He married Carolyn Flores on September 3, 1972, and together had three daughters. Marlin will affectionately be remembered for playing Santa Claus each Christmas in the community. Most of all, Marlin cherished time spent with his family – particularly his children and grandchildren.

Marlin is survived by his daughters, Michelle (George) Aggas, Jamie (Jeremy) Groh, and Twila (Daniel) Roundy; his grandchildren, Hope, Selina, Tayler, Emma, MaKayah, Carolyn, Anna, Wyatt, Skyla, and Halle; and by two great-grandsons, Christian and Jaxson; and by his siblings, Glenda, Joan, Ed, Kevin, and Arlen.

In addition to his parents, Marlin was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, and his brother, Darwin, and sister, Madonna.
