Mark Clifford Stowe

  Mark Clifford Stowe, 46, of Weatherford, passed away early Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at his home.

  Mark loved playing his guitar, writing music, and creating short films. He handcrafted guitars. Mark graduated with a Master’s degree in History from Tarleton State University. He was a caretaker to his family and held to his Baptist belief in Jesus. Mark was born January 10, 1970, in Weatherford.    

  Mark is survived by his mother, Lynda Stowe; sister, Donna Stowe of Weatherford; brother, Roy and Leslie Stowe of Azle; uncle, Raymond Hatfield; cousins, Raymond Hatfield, II and Kurt Hatfield; nieces and nephews, Lizzie Pigott, Megan Coronado, Tori Greene, Becca Peterson, and Kyle Stowe; and by his great-nieces and nephews, Layne, MaeBelle, Jace, Saylor, Luke, Peyton, and Maxton.

  Mark was preceded in death by father, Lee Roy Stowe; and grandparents, Haney and Marcia Hatfield.

  Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

  Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., (Viewing will be at 9:00 a.m.), on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.

  Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
