Marie Bruner, 91, of Granbury, peacefully passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 at Town Hall Estates in Keene, Texas. Marie was born March 22, 1916, in Noodle, Texas, to John E. and Maggie Rosson. She married Sam Bruner in 1937 and together they farmed near Hamlin, Texas. In 1976, following retirement, the couple moved to Weatherford where they lived until Sam passed away in 1997. Marie then moved to Granbury to be near family. Marie enjoyed gardening and was a member of Granbury Church of Christ.
Survivors include sisters, Billie Altland of York, Pennsylvania, Bea Davidson of Granbury, and Lucille Willingham of Fort Worth; brother, Jim Rosson of Granbury; and seventeen nieces and nephews.
Service: Sunday, 2:30 p.m., at the Granbury Church of Christ. Burial: Monday, 1:00 p.m., at Hamlin Cemetery, Hamlin, Texas.
