Maria Guadalupe Montalvo Serna

Maria Guadalupe Montalvo Serna, 78 of Weatherford, went home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 surrounded by her family and friends.  Lupe was born December 12, 1932 in Cadereyta, Mexico. She was a homemaker, loved cooking, gardening, sewing and took tea to church. Lupe was a very loving person and had a servants heart. She is survived by her daughters, Marisela Torres and Irene Palacios both of Weatherford, sons, Paul Serna of Azle, Juan Serna of Weatherford and Daniel Serna. Brothers, Jose Angel Montalvo of Monterray, Mexico and Andreas Montalvo of Millsap. Eleven grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren
 
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
