Margaret Southern

Margaret Southern, 85, of Weatherford, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born January 29, 1936, in Eastland, Texas, to Tommy and Lenorah Wilson Alford. Margaret worked for Edo Aire Mitchell for many years. She was a member of the Baptist church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dana Bloodworth; and her siblings, Elizabeth Smith, Phillip Alford, and Tommy Alford, Jr. 

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Danny Southern and wife, Melissa, and David Southern and wife, Rose; son in law, Ricky Bloodworth; grandchildren, Richard, Cody, Kaitlyn, Mindi, Ashley, Justin, Tiffany, and Lane; sister, Helen Sizelan; along with numerous great grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, also at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Eastland Cemetery, in Eastland, Texas.
