Margaret Patison

  Margaret Yvonne Patison, age 90, peacefully passed from this life on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. 

  Born on November 12, 1934, in Cowden, Oklahoma, Margaret was the daughter of John Williams and Ima (Brabson) Dingle. A lifelong Methodist, she held fast to her faith and raised her family in the same tradition. Margaret was a dedicated teacher who truly loved her work and the students she served. Known for her generous spirit and caring nature, she found joy in looking after others and had a natural gift for keeping everyone in line. 

  In her later years, Margaret treasured the adventures she shared traveling with her beloved husband, John. Together, they created a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and discovery. 

  Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John Patison; her parents, John Williams and Ima Dingle; and her brother, Robert Brabson. 

  She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (David) Signori of Washington, D.C.; son, John (David) Patison of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Ann Herring, Vada (Wayne) Elders, and Virginia (Roger) Bradley, all of Weatherford, Texas, and Marlene (Rick) King of Bradenton, Florida; brother, Leroy (Carol) Dingle of Grapevine, Texas; and by her cherished nieces and nephews: Rodney Bradley, Jason Bradley, Justin Bradley, Michael Patison, Andrew Patison, and Sam Signori. 

  Family and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. 

  A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the funeral chapel. She will be laid to rest following the service at Hiner Cemetery, 400 Hiner Road, Weatherford, Texas.
