Marcelino (Tony) Marin

  Marcelino (Tony) Marin, age 77, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

  Marcelino was born on May 4, 1949 in El Salvador, son to Serafina Marin. Raised in his homeland, he enjoyed playing soccer in his younger years, a pastime that brought him great joy.

  He married the love of his life, Maria Francisca, and together they built a loving home in Weatherford for 42 years while raising their four sons. A hardworking and dedicated provider, Marcelino spent many years working as a handyman and laborer in the construction industry. He was known for his strong work ethic, willingness to help others, and deep devotion to his family.

  A member of Saint Stephen Catholic Church, Marcelino found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, tending his garden, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the time he shared with his wife, children, and loved ones.

  Marcelino is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Marin; his sons, Eduardo, Erick, Mauricio, and Edwin; along with their wives and Marcelino’s 10 grandchildren, and numerous loving family members and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

  A Prayer/Rosary will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas.

  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, where Marcelino will be laid to rest.
