Maj. Calvin "Ike" Brown

  Maj. Calvin “Ike” Brown, USAF Retired, passed away Sunday morning, September 5, 2010, in a local care facility. Born January 31, 1923, in DeSoto, Ike was a long time resident of Parker County. Along with being retired from the United States Air Force, Ike was a member of South Main Church of Christ and a Shriner. 

  His survivors include his sons, David Brown of Mansfield and Keith Brown of Gary; sister, Bernita Singletary of Weatherford; brother, Don Brown of Hidaway; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

  Memorial service was held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday September 7, 2010, at Martin Crest Assisted Living and Memory Care Center, 1818 Martin Drive, in Weatherford.
