Maggie Leta Williams

  Maggie Leta Williams, age 89, of Weatherford, died early Saturday morning, April 14, 2007. She was born March 27, 1918, in Jack County, Texas. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and member of the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. 

  She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Johanson and husband, Conrad of East Greenwich, Rhode Island; sons, Jesse Williams and wife, Barbara of Weatherford and Condy Williams and wife, Nancy of Willow Park; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Addie Simpson of Weatherford and Lorene Tiechman of Mineral Wells; brothers, George Wood of Weatherford, Robert Wood of Jacksboro, and J. W. Wood of Jacksboro. 

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in the Newberry Presbyterian Church, with interment in the Newberry Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, April 16, 2007, at the funeral home.
