Maben Floyd May, Sr., 79, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Born January 6, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of the late Felix and Frances Barry May. His parents and sister, Shelia May, all preceded him in death.
Floyd attended Carter Riverside High School and received his bachelors and masters from Texas Wesleyan College. He was employed as an accountant at Tarrant County MHMR for 25 years. Floyd was a talented artist, photographer, and musician. He devoted many hours to ham radio. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Willow Park Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Dianne Kay May of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Lori (Mark) Provence of Weatherford, Texas; son, Maben Floyd May, Jr. of Springtown, Texas; brother, Robert (Yen) Howe of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Dave (Joanne) Howe of Salt Lake, Utah; and four grandchildren, Brent Provence, Amber Gonzales, Kaitlyn May, and Preston May.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2021, at Willow Park Baptist Church.
