Lydia Harris

  Lydia Harris, 94, of Weatherford, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, in a local nursing facility. Born April 11, 1914, in Santo, she was a long time resident of Parker County. Lydia was a homemaker and a member of South Main Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and was a loving and giving wife, mother, and grandmother. 

  Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Hillary Harris; daughter, Mary Hoppes; and her parents. 

  She is survived by her daughters, Jimmie Ragle and husband, Vernon of Weatherford and Tommie Ellis and husband, Lewis Wayne of Springtown; son, Odis Harris and wife, Gale of Aledo; 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. 

  Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2008, at South Main Church of Christ, with Minister Murphy Phillips officiating.

  Interment: Memory Gardens Cemetery.

  Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
