Lula Mae Bowman

  Lula Mae Bowman, 82, of Weatherford, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in a Fort Worth hospice facility. Lula was born November 1, 1927 in Weatherford, to Hal and Fannie Mae Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 

  Lula was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Jackson Bowman; daughter, Laura Mae Davis; sisters, Sybil Williams and Vivian Aslinger; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Davis. 

  She is survived by her sons, Tim Bowman of Fort Worth and Phillip Bowman of Weatherford; brother, Kenneth Phillips and wife, Rosemary of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren, Elizabeth Bergman, Wynne Stallcop, George Davis, Nick Davis, and Julie Gonzales.

  Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010, in New Hope Baptist Church, with Rev. Curtis Jefferson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Annetta cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard in charge of arrangements.
