Lucy Elizabeth Britton

  Lucy Elizabeth Britton, 93, of Weatherford, died Thursday, January 21, 2010, in the Weatherford Hospital. Lucy was born April 26, 1916 in Covington, Texas. She was a retired beautician, a member of Couts United Methodist Church, loved gardening, sewing, cooking and spending time with family. 

  Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Britton and grandson, Scott Vaughn.
 
  Survivors: daughter, Cynthia Vaughan of Weatherford; son, Michael Britton of Richardson; granddaughters, Veronica Vaughan of Haltom City and Michelle Clawson of Plano; and five great grandchildren.
 
  Graveside service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
