Louis V. Duvall, 70, a lifelong resident of Poolville, Texas, died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at his home. Louis was born in the Advance Community, to Haller (H.O.) Duvall and Maggie Measures Duvall on April 10, 1936. He graduated Poolville High School in 1954 and on July 4, 1955, he married his high school sweetheart Vernell Watson. A man of many trades, Louis owned various businesses throughout the years and for the past 20 years owned and operated Louis Duvall Farm Equipment. He was very much loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Vernell Duvall of Poolville; daughter, Carmen Sandlin and husband Royce of Poolville; sons, Lynn Duvall and wife Wendy of Poolville and Scottie Duvall and wife Amy of Brock; 7 grandchildren, Lindsey Gonzalez and husband Romeo, Brady Sandlin and wife Maegan, Callie Sandlin, Cole Duvall, Bailey Duvall, Reid Duvall and Clair Duvall; brothers, Delvin Duvall and wife Peggy and Fred Duvall and wife Loise; sister in law, Bonnie Duvall; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2006 in the North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford. Visitation 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
