Lou Ann Morris

  Lou Ann Morris, 80, of Weatherford, passed away late Friday evening, October 6, at Harris Hospital surrounded by her family.

  Visitation services from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Committal services, celebrating her life, 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery, Lipan, Texas.

  Lou Ann was born March 12, 1937, in Mt. Blanco, Texas, to Clinton and Leah Worley. She married the love of her life, James Morris June 15, 1962. While she enjoyed many jobs, her primary calling was wife, mother, and grandmother. Her unconditional love for her husband and family, as she modeled the definition of “Grace,” shall be remembered.

  She leaves behind a husband of 55 years, James; four children, Carrie Barker (Michael), Amelia Johnson (Scott), Mariam Morris, and Kevin Morris (Elaine); nine grandchildren,  Parker, Jessica, Alex, Lyle, Sean, Lexi, Katie, Kyra, and Garrett; and seven great-grandchildren.
