Lora Lee Herringer

  Lora Lee Herringer, 87, of Weatherford, was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by her husband, parents and son on Sunday, October 10, 2010, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born January 10, 1923, in Mineral Wells, Texas, she was a long time resident of Parker County. Lora Lee was a homemaker, loving mother, and a member of the Church of God. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Byron and Dillie Ray Thompson and son, Glen. 

  Lora Lee is survived by daughters, Beatrice of California, Judy Rollag and husband, Jim of Minnesota and Evelyn of Fort Worth; sons, Jerry and wife, Debbie, David and wife, Charlotte, Henry Herringer, Jeffery Herringer, and Tommy Herringer, all of Texas; brothers, Oliver Thompson of Longview and Billie and wife, Brenda of Texas; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in the North Main Street Church of God with interment in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at the funeral home.
