Lola Mae Donaldson

  Lola Mae Donaldson, 88, of Weatherford, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in a Bridgeport nursing facility. Mrs. Donaldson was born March 5, 1920, in Knox County, Texas, to John and Annie Pearl Kemp. Lola was a homemaker and a faithful member of Westland Baptist church. 

  Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, V.C. Donaldson, Sr.; son, Don A. Donaldson; daughter-in-law, Judy Ann Donaldson; grandson, Vernon Ross Donaldson; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Marie Leggett. 

  Survivors: daughters, Anna McFarland and husband, John of White Settlement, Thelma Patterson and husband, Bobby of Chico; son, V.C. Donaldson and wife, Sandra of Moorefield, West Virginia; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. 

  Services will be on Friday, February 27, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment at Tin Top cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, at the funeral home.
