Lloyd Reeves Atkins, 84, of Springtown, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. Lloyd was born February 26, 1929 in Soper Oklahoma to Ruby and Harold Atkins.
Mr. Atkins was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He retired after 35 years with the City of Fort Worth as an electrician. Lloyd was a member of North Side Baptist Church and a charter member of the Central Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Billie; son, Larry and wife, Linda of Arlington; granddaughter, Angela Atkins and sisters, Nellene Hull of Azle and Francis Adams of Burleson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday in the Galbreaith
Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
Visitation
is from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
