Linda Sue “Rodgers” Long, 54, of Weatherford, passed away on Thursday May 3, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Long was born in Weatherford, on November 21, 1952, to Murphy and Veta Sorrells. She was a life long resident of Parker County, an office manager, and a member of The Church in Peaster.
Her parents precede her in death.
Survivors: husband, Jerry Long of Weatherford; daughters, Laura Dykstra and husband, Randy of Weatherford, Texas, and Jeri Kay Kao and husband, Simon of Decatur, Texas; sons, Keith Rodgers of Angleton, Texas, Jerrod Long of Ilan, Taiwan, and Jerrett Long of Ilan, Taiwan; sisters, Lois Listenbee of Dimebox, Texas, and Sherry Ford of North Richland Hills, Texas; brother, Joe Wayne Walker of Poolville, Texas; and two grandchildren, Zachary and Malachi Kao.
Funeral service will be on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at The Church in Peaster, with interment at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
