Linda Lou Ingram, 78, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. She was born September 25, 1945, in Seattle, Washington to the late Leonard Weir and Ruby (Hock) Weir. Linda was predeceased by her parents; five siblings, Leonard Jr., Beulah, Wayne, Donald Sr., and Norman Weir; and her brother-in-law, Bob Russell.
Linda is survived by her husband, Windell James Ingram of Jacksboro, Texas; she was the loving mother of three children and their spouses, Cindy & Keith New, Calvin & Jessica Ingram, and Tonya & Royce Gastineau. Linda especially loved her eight grandchildren, Daniel New, Stephanie Zapata, Jessica New, Calvin Jordan (Anna) Ingram, Jaxon Ingram, Jaden Ingram, Dalton (Madison) King, and Carley (Ty) McDaniel; and five great-grandchildren, Wesley Pease, Weston King, Cameron King, Wyatt McDaniel and Wade McDaniel; and her sister, Glenda Russell.
Linda worked for City Drug as a pharmaceutical clerk for 27 years, she was a member of the Church of Christ, and she enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, but mostly spending time with family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Faith Community Nursing and Rehab, 211 E. Jasper St., Jacksboro, Texas 76458.
