Linda Louise Hale

  Linda Louise Hale, age 85, of Palo Pinto, Texas, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, one day before her 86th birthday, surrounded by the love of her family. 

  Born on July 1, 1940, in Weatherford, Texas, Linda was the daughter of Clifford Collins and Mirtie (Combs) Collins. She married the love of her life, Jerry Hale, and together they built a beautiful life over 67 years of marriage, centered on faith, family, and unwavering devotion. As a dedicated homemaker, Linda found great joy in caring for those she loved and creating a warm, welcoming home. 

  A faithful member of Mingus Baptist Church, Linda lived a life marked by love and quiet strength. 

  Linda enjoyed many simple pleasures throughout her life. She loved cooking delicious meals, fishing, and making memories with those she loved. Above all else, she treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family, who were the greatest blessing of her life. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mirtie Collins, and by her siblings, Evelyn Montgomery, Carmen Montgomery, Tommy Collins, Carl Collins, and Jake Cornelison. 

  Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 67 years, Jerry Hale of Palo Pinto; her sons, Mike Hale (Lily), Ken Hale (Patti), and Dave Hale; her grandchildren, Joe Hale (Lynx), Faith Parr (Riley), Hope Williams (Donovan), and Richard Hale; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. 

  A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at First Baptist Church Dennis, in Dennis, Texas.
