Leonard “Leo” Escobedo, 27, of Granbury, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008, in Weatherford. Leo was born September 13, 1981, in Houston, to Carlos and Hermalinda Escobedo. He was a tech operator for Mastervac Industries. He was a Christian, active in Golden Glove Boxing, and an avid fan of professional boxing. Leo had a strong personality and was a loving and good father and husband.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandfather, Jesse Flores Rocha.
He is survived by his wife, Rae; son, Malakhi Isaiah Isreal Escobedo; stepchildren, Alley Teoni Shaikh, Jacob Diego Gibson, Elijah Noel Leijah, and Zaccheus Joel Leijah, all of Dallas; father, Carlos Escobedo of Houston; sisters, Juanita, Mary Helen and Leticia Escobedo, all of Houston; and brothers, Felipe Escobedo of Weatherford and Carlos Escobedo of Houston.
Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Annetta Cemetery.
