Lena Wampler, 93, of Weatherford, passed away November 30, 2008. Mrs. Wampler was born September 8, 1915, in Oklahoma, to Willie Theodore and Francis Perlie Jones. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford and she loved to cook and sew.
Her husband, Jack Wampler, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wampler is survived by her son, J. D. Wampler and his wife, Sue of North Richland Hills; two grandchildren, Jerry Wampler and Sandra Cross; five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
