Leah Dawn Adams

  Leah Dawn Adams, 32, passed away on August 27, 2026. She leaves behind her three beloved daughters and a family who will forever cherish her memory.

  Leah was born and raised in Weatherford, Texas, and later lived in Mineral Wells. She graduated from Brock High School and then attended school to become a phlebotomist. She worked as a phlebotomist for ten years.

  Leah was outgoing, extremely goofy, and had a natural ability to make people laugh. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and was never afraid to express her strong opinions or stand up for what she believed was right. She was creative and enjoyed doodling, coloring, making jewelry, and sharing her broad love of music with others.

  She especially loved spending time outdoors, kayaking on the river, collecting rocks, and taking in beautiful views. Leah adored cats and could rarely resist trying to bring a stray home. She was also a woman of faith, and a quote that held special meaning to her was, “Without knowledge, action is useless, and knowledge without action is futile.”

  Leah is survived by her daughters, Jaycee Lynn Voss, Kinley Anne Benson, and Aubrey Marie Benson; her mother, Stacy Carnley; her father, Troy Adams; her sister, Amber Adams; her brother, Hayden Pugh; her aunt and uncle, Tracy and Jimmie Pretty; uncles, Hershel Hendrik and Johnny Carnley; cousins, Kayla Oliver and Jacob Ray; and many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

  She was preceded in death by several of her grandparents, including her beloved grandfather, Delbert “Tooter” Carnley.

  Leah will be remembered for her laughter, her big personality, her creativity, her love of nature and animals, and the countless memories she created with those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
