Laveta Mae Moore

  Laveta Mae Moore, age 93, of Weatherford, died on Saturday, June 19, 2010, in a local nursing facility. She was born May 9, 1917, a resident of Weatherford for many years. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved her family, especial her grandchildren, loved dominoes and cooking, especial cookies.

  Survivors: daughter, Dianne Greene and husband, Wendell of Weatherford; son, Rick Moore and wife, Ollie of Weatherford; sister, Nita Smith of Missouri; sister-in-law, Stella Moyer of Weatherford; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

  Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2010, in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 20th, at the funeral home.
