Laura Helen Ramos, age 80, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at a local nursing facility. She was born June 16, 1937 in Weatherford, to Burdett and Clora Martin. Laura was a retired banker, a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her dog Bandit, her parrot Paco and raising her grandson Josh.
Laura is survived by her son, Tony Ramos of Washington; daughter, Amaya “Lanea” Ramos of Oklahoma; brother, Clyde “Mack” Martin; grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Tristen Ramos, Adrian Ramos, and Toni Ramos; and great-grandchild, Alianna Richey.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Burdett “Peanut” Martin and Clora Woodle Martin; son, Terry Scott Ramos; and sister, June Bradshaw.
Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Curtis Cemetery.
