Surrounded by family, our beloved Frances passed away on Tuesday, January 25th after a courageous battle with cancer. Frances’ life was an inspiration. Her loss will be greatly felt by all who knew her, but her joy for life and love of the Lord will continue to shine in our hearts.
Preceded in death by sister, Barbara Jean Chiero.
Survivors: husband, Marvin William Edgmon Jr.; sons, Marvin William Edgmon III and wife, Glenda and James Russell Edgmon and wife, Tracy; daughter, Leslie Frances Doak and husband, Patrick; sisters, Judy Ann Whitt and Martha Jane Hurlburt and husband, Ron; and six grandchildren, James Robert Edgmon, Jennifer Lee Nelson and husband, Brandon, Nicole Frances Conner and husband, Sean, Michael William Edgmon, Patrick Shane Doak and Ian William Doak.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2011, at Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
