Larry Wayne Dodson

  Larry Wayne Dodson, 54, of Poolville, passed away on Thursday morning, February 14, 2008, surrounded by his family. Born April 21, 1953, to Clyde and Gladys, in Weatherford, Texas, where he was a resident of Parker County all his life. Mr. Dodson was a heavy equipment operator for 27 years before retiring and a volunteer fireman for over 30 years, last associated with the Central VFD. He loved his family and friends, and loved to Bar B Que and cook for numerous fundraisers including the Central Volunteer Fire Department. 

  Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

  He is survived by his wife, Billie Dodson of Poolville; daughters, Jessica Garvin of Poolville, Tricia Dodson of Mineral Wells, and Terri Fozzard of Bourbonnais, Illinois; and five grandchildren, Emilee, Cody, Bryson, Riley, and Chase.  

  Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Monday February 18, 2008, at Central Baptist Church with interment at Dilbeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
