Larry Dean Sills

Larry Dean Sills, age 86, passed from this life Saturday, August 20, 2022. Larry was born February 12, 1936, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Lawrence and Mary Walker Sills. He married Sherry Palmore Sills, on July 15, 1954. Larry was a retired oil pipeline surveyor for Mobil Pipeline Company and a retired prison guard for CCA. He was a member of North Side Baptist Church. Larry loved flying airplanes and especially loved his family. He was a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard and a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sherry Sills, of Weatherford; sons Greg Sills of Sobol, OK, Scott Sills and wife Debra of Azle; daughter Lori Napoli of Marietta, OK; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Lynda Porter of OK; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald; and brother-in-law, Robert Porter.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford with funeral service on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at North Side Baptist Church. Interment will be in the East Greenwood Cemetery.
