Kimberly Layne Barbee

  Kimberly Layne Barbee, 56, of Weatherford, passed away Monday evening, January 9, 2017, at her home.

  A memorial service celebrating Kimberly’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the North Main Church of Christ, 1302 N. Main Street, in Weatherford. Burial will be private at a later date.

  Kimberly was born in Weatherford, Texas, to Wayne and Bess Barbee. She was a graduate of Weatherford High School where she was active in gymnastics. She went on to take courses at Weatherford College and Abilene Christian College. Kimberly worked as an Oral Surgeon’s Assistant mostly in the Grapevine area. She was an avid cat lover. Most of all, Kimberly will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, cousin, and friend.

  Kimberly is survived by her parents, Wayne and Bess Barbee of Weatherford; brother, Alan Wayne and wife, Cathy Barbee of Peyton, Colorado; nieces and nephews, Austin, Alison, Ashlyn, and Cameron, whom she dearly adored; by many cousins; and by her special friends, Ben and Neil Flanagan.
