On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Kenneth “Dwight” Tippie went to meet his Lord and Savior from his home in Millsap, Texas. Dwight was born on June 13, 1950, in Burnet, Texas, to Charles Ray Tippie and Helen Faye Lynn - Tippie.
He was a graduate of Burnet High School in 1968. He served his country in the United States Navy and Army National Guard.
Dwight was preceded in death by both of his parents; his sister, Sherry Rusinovich; one sister-in-law, Candy Tippie; one brother-in-law, Bob Clay; and one grandson, Jason Dwight Burns.
Dwight is still represented and remembered on this earth by his children: Amanda Tippie and Keith Ellis; son, Charles Tippie, II and Wendi Tippie; and daughter, Shelly Tippie. He has nine grandchildren: Ethan Burns and wife, Adalyn Burns; Mason Burns and wife, Karleigh Burns; Kylee Miller; CR Tippie, III; Briana Pena; Levi Tippie; Kara Burns; Kalyn Burns; and Beau Tippie. He has one great grandson, Bodie Burns; and two soon to be great grandsons, Dallas Burns and Hilton Burns. He has four siblings: Charles DeWayne Tippie; Janis Clay; Regina and husband, Mike Holland; and Samantha Hurd; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Dwight will forever be remembered as a family man who loved and cherished those in his life.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Millsap, with burial at Holders Chapel Cemetery, in Millsap, Texas.
