Kenneth Louis Washburn

  Kenneth Louis Washburn, 66, of Weatherford, died and went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 24, 2006, at his residence. Born January 2, 1940, in Lampasas, Texas, he was a resident of Parker County for many years. Kenneth was a retired construction worker, attended New Haven Baptist Church, a Veteran Rifle Marksman of the U.S. Navy, and an avid fisherman. 

  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and a daughter, Marie Nell Washburn. 

  Kenneth is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen Washburn of Weatherford; sons, Larry Colbath of Odessa, Richard Colbath and wife, Cindy of Granbury, Randy Washburn and wife, Sharon of Weatherford, and Joey Washburn and wife, Robin of Poolville; one sister and four brothers; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 

  Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in the East Greenwood Cemetery, with Bro Brett Shumway officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard in charge of arrangements.
