Kenneth "Kenny" Edwin Letson, Jr.

Kenneth Edwin Letson, Jr., age 69, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Kenny was born on November 6, 1951, in Weatherford, Texas, to Kenneth Letson, Sr. and Mary Helen Shelby Letson. 

He was a Master Electrician, former employee of Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, and Owner of Letson Electric. Kenny served our community in many ways, as both a volunteer and regular fire fighter, a member of the local Evening Lion’s Club, a past member of the Knights of the Pythias, and a Special Olympics volunteer. 

He was a golfer and a huge Dallas Cowboy’s fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and especially enjoyed his daily, morning “ride-abouts” around Weatherford in his Jeep. 

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, and sister and brother-in-law, Skipper and Cecil Pool.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Pam Freeman of Weatherford; daughters, Mary “Skeeter” Elliott and husband, Tracy of Santo; Casey Cooley and husband, Casey of Aledo; and Darby Freeman of Weatherford; son, Shane Letson and companion, Diana Pryor of Weatherford; sister, Linda Pickard and husband, Ronnie of Weatherford; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, on Sunday, January 10, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Ceremony will be held at Northside Baptist Church, in Weatherford, on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
