Kayla Lucille Ann Plumley, 13, of Weatherford, died Sunday, May 13, 2007, in Weatherford. Born October 4, 1993 in Weatherford, where she was a life long resident.
Kayla was a 7th grade student at Shirley Hall Middle School where she was on the dance team and student council. Kayla loved cats and dogs and listening to hip hop music and dancing. She loved going to South Side Baptist Church where she was a member. Her favorite thing was attending Bronco Summer Camp, an asthma camp that let her do things she was otherwise unable to do. Kayla was a happy little girl that loved life.
She is survived by her parents, Brian and Marie Plumley; brothers, Brian and Michael Plumley; grandparents, Willene Hetrick, PaPa John and MaMa Ann Collum; uncle, John Collum III; aunt, Jamie Gilbert; great grandmother, Eva Marie; aunt, Stacy Collum; uncle, Randy Hetrick; grandpa, Clarence Knight; uncles, James Knight and Gene Knight; and aunt, Barbara Knight; a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at South Side Baptist Church. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
