Judy Louise Gilbert

  Judy Louise Gilbert, 69, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011. Born May 31, 1942, in New Berg Heights, Ohio, she was a long time resident of Parker County. Judy was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church, an advocate in the Prison Ministries, a loyal volunteer at Center of Hope and Parker County Animal Shelter. She was a proud supporter of anyone that was unable to take care of themselves, which inspired her to become a home healthcare provider. 

  Judy is survived by her daughter, Teresa Nolte and husband, John of Springtown; sons, Charles W “Billy” Gilbert, Jr. of Weatherford and Raymond Gilbert and wife, Tisha of Keller; sisters, Susan Johnson of Weatherford and Kathy Eggleston of Kansas; grandchildren, Madyson, John III, Cameron, Caleb, Devin, Cade, Sydney, Charlene and Christopher; and her beloved, Missy.

  Graveside service: 12:30 p.m., Friday September 2, 2011, in the DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Parker County Animal Shelter, PO Box 255, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
