Juanita’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a dedicated wife of 53 years to her high school sweetheart, Bill Pennington until his passing. She was a mother of four children, and grandma to ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. They meant the world to her. She was an accomplished seamstress and always made holidays a delight with her creative party-planning skills. She was an amazing cook, from cake decorating to other food art, her creations always showed off her talent and creative side. She attended Hardin Simmons University and studied business and shorthand. She was a long-term member of the Ladies Red Hat Club. For 30 plus years, Bill and Juanita were part of multiple square dance clubs, where she also volunteered in many capacities. They also enjoyed bowling leagues together. She was a long-term member of Trinity Baptist in Rivers Oaks, Texas where she sang in the choir. In later years, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Willow Park, Texas. Music brought her joy from singing to playing the piano. She was adventurous from her travels to discovering a love for motorcycle riding in her 70’s. She will be greatly missed.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” H. Pennington; son, Robert “Bobby” Pennington; parents, Cecil Durwood Belcher and Mary Ruth Holder Belcher Weatherly; and sisters, Joan Snedden and Sue Burch.
