Juanita Medina Sanchez

  Juanita Medina Sanchez, 58, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010, with her family at her side in Austin, Texas. Juanita was born on December 2, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas, and was a graduate of Millsap High School and Weatherford College. She was employed with Austin and Weatherford Independent School Districts.  

  Juanita is survived by her companion, Mick Nelson; son, Paul Sanchez and wife, Courtney; daughter, Christina Sanchez; sister, Gloria Medina Black and husband, Greg; brothers, Nicholas Medina, Jr., Daniel Medina, and Paula and Samuel Medina; two grandchildren, Kendall and Brendan Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Galbreaith Pickard.  A memorial service will be held Monday, December 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., in Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. Galbreaith Pickard is in charge of arrangements.
