Juanita Elizabeth Bryson, age 87, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008, in a local nursing facility. Born March 13, 1921, in Cleburne, Texas, a resident of Cleburne, Burleson and Fort Worth before moving to Weatherford, she was a homemaker and owner of J. B.’s Bar-B-Que for 20 years before her retirement.
Mrs. Bryson was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Bryson.
Survivors: daughters, Gina Marie Bryson of Aledo, Betty Lou Shelton and husband, Robert Earl of Burleson, and Jo Nell Thornton of Texas; son, James Barry Bryson of Fort Worth; brother, Hubert Holliday of Tyler; six grandchildren, Denise Elizabeth Warren, Clifton Mark Powell, Mitchell Guy Powell, James Matthew Powell, Robert Todd Shelton, and Anthony Tad Shelton; 16 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; and her peekapoo dog, Gidget.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2008, in the Tye.
