Juana Maria Mata Maldonado

Juana Maria Mata Maldonado, 55, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, after a courageous battle with ALS. She was born August 27, 1961, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Pedro Mata Garcia and Julia Castillo Altamirano. Juana was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was a custodian for Weatherford ISD for 16 years.

Survivors include her husband, Isaias Maldonado; daughters, Alba Maldonado and Elva Maldonado, both of Weatherford; grandchildren, Cristopher Requena, Joseph Requena, and Natalia Idaly Requena; sisters, Leonor Mata, Nolberta Mata Castillo, and Maria del Refugio Mata; brothers, Vicente Castillo Garcia, Isidro Mata Castillo, Eduardo Mata Castillo, Modesto Mata Castillo, and Juan Francisco Mata Castillo; a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 19, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with burial following at East Greenwood Cemetery.
