Joyce Faye Watson

 Joyce Faye (Cotton) Watson, born February 18, 1945, at Campbell Memorial Hospital in Weatherford, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 4, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Weatherford.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Henry Cotton; brother, Jerry Cotton; sister, Bobbie Hall; and grandchildren, Christian Ray, Ranger Scout, and Emery Kay.

 Joyce is survived by her four children, Teresa, Jackie, James Ray “JBird,” and Jerry Lee; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Mildred Langley and Sylvia Watson; and brother-in-law, Steve Hall.

 The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Weatherford Healthcare, where Joyce made her home for the past ten years.

  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
