Joseph "Joe" Richard Cronin

  Joseph Richard Cronin, age 80, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at his home in Weatherford.

  Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas. Burial will follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral chapel.

  Joe was born on August 12, 1945, in Weatherford, Texas, to Joseph Cronin and Sadie Carolyn (Richards) Cronin. He married Audrey on April 13, 1963, and together had two sons, Robert and Joe Bryan Cronin.

  Joe was known as an incredibly hardworking and dedicated man, he spent his life ensuring his family had everything they needed. He enjoyed working his ranch, planting flowers, watching westerns, going on trips, and making memories with his loved ones.

  Joe will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, everything he did was for his family.

  Joe is survived by his sons, Robert and Joe Bryan Cronin; his grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Brady, Sarah, Jordan, and Bailey; several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

  In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey.
