Jose’ “Pancho” Zamarron, Sr., 66, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, in a Fort Worth hospital. Pancho was born January 29, 1941, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was a longtime rancher employed by Lonestar Park and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Zamarron of Weatherford; daughter, Sylvia Steffler and husband, Lance of Weatherford; sons, Ricky Zamarron and wife, Patti of Weatherford, Richard Zamarron and wife, Rhonda of Weatherford, Frank Zamarron, Jr. and wife, Anne of Weatherford; sisters, Sis Marquerite Zamarron of Arlington, Lupe Zamarron of Mexico, and Lucia Amaya of Tyler; brother, Luis Zamarron of Mexico; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Cody, Camryn, Raeven, Chase, Mason and Phillip Zamarron, Samantha and Sydney Steffler.
Funeral Mass 2:00 p.m., Friday, St. Stephens Catholic Church. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in East Greenwood Cemetery.
