Jolene Gibson

Jolene Gibson, age 82, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully in Weatherford, Texas, to meet her Lord and Savior, on June 27, 2018, after a brief illness.
Jolene was born August 2, 1935, to J. V. and Oleta Allen, in Dennis, Texas.
Jolene graduated from Arlington Heights High School; attended Brantley Draughon Business College; and retired from The City of Weatherford. She had also worked as a Medical Clerk for various doctors; and, as a Bank Teller for The M & F State Bank and First National Bank of Weatherford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and, her husband, the love of her life, Charlie K. Gibson.
She is survived by her children, Susan Kendig (Terry) of Saginaw; and, Tanya Davis (Sammie) of Weatherford.
Five grandchildren, Justin Cohlmeyer (Krista); Ryan Cohlmeyer (Linnzi); Laura Cohlmeyer; Paige Absher (Sam); and Megan Davis; and, one great-grandchild, Allie Absher.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1st, 3 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home; and, Services will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home. Interment: Immediately following at the East Greenwood Cemetery.
