Johnny Leroy Spann

  Johnny Leroy Spann, Sr., 64, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born June 2, 1945 in Fort Worth, he was a resident of Parker County for many years. Johnny was a sales representative for the grocery industry. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

  Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Odie Spann and a sister, Edwina Fite.
 
  Survivors: wife of 45 years, Barbara Spann of Weatherford; daughters, Tracy Lynn Brooks and husband Devin of Weatherford and Sheila Kaye McNeill and husband Clayton of Fort Worth; sons, Johnny Leroy Spann and wife Donna of Memphis, Tennessee and Gregory Alan Spann and wife Tasha of Weatherford; mother, Mary Spann; sisters, Mary Ann Perry and husband Bob of Lipan, Nellie Jean Hinson and husband Travis of Mineola, and Martha Louise Gordon of Midland; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
 
  Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2009, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Van N. Houser officiating.
