Johnnie Watson

 Johnnie Watson, a devoted wife, mom, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Born June 29, 1944, in Winters, Texas, to Bertha Rowland and John Miller, Johnnie grew up with strong family values that she carried throughout her life.

 She married the love of her life, Jimmy Watson, on April 2, 1961 in Odessa, Texas. Together they built a loving family and raised four children: Jim, Mike, Jeff, and Denise.

 Johnnie graduated from Tarleton State University and dedicated over 15 years of hard work as a butcher at Winn Dixie and then 20 years as a teacher at Weatherford ISD, where she was known for her reliability and strong work ethic.

 A woman of faith, love and an endless devotion to her family, Johnnie's greatest joy was spending time with those she loved. Whether cheering on her grandchildren at their activities or enjoying family gatherings, her presence brought warmth and laughter to everyone around her.

 Johnnie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy; her parents, Bertha and John Miller; and siblings, Rowland, Beth, Bud, and Jean.

 Johnnie is survived by her sisters, Sally and Faye; and by her children, Jim and wife, Donna, Mike and wife, Marni, Jeff and wife, Jennifer, and Denise and husband, Jeff; nine beloved grandchildren, Levi, Cory, Ryan, Colton, Zach, Key, Gabby, Kaleb, and Jacob; and five precious great-grandchildren, L.J., Parker, Gunnar, Tyler, and Aubrey.

 Johnnie's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family.

  A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, with burial to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery, 410 Front Street, Weatherford, Texas.
