Johnnie Lee Brooks

October 5, 1942 — September 23, 2024

Born on October 5, 1942, to John and Gertrude Price in Snyder, Texas, Johnnie went home to be with Jesus on September 23, 2024.

She was married to Andy Brooks for 36 years, whom she loved very much and enjoyed singing with. Johnnie was a country gospel singer and had an album titled “Jesus is so good to me.” She worked as a special education teacher for many years, and was a published author, who wrote a children’s book called “Addie Wants A Kitten,” named after her great grandchild.

Johnnie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with grandkids and great grandkids, and she loved to worship and spend time with the Lord.

Johnnie is survived by her husband, Andy Brooks; her children, Glenda and Billy Duncan, Karen Parker, Nancy and Michael Brooks, Scott and Karla Keller, Guy and Meredith Keller, Chad Keller, Crystal and Darrel Douds, and Angela Keller; as well as all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved so, so, so, much! We love you more Mom/Grandma.
