John Thomas Woods, Jr., 76, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006, in a Fort Worth Hospital. Born August 7, 1930 in Chico, Texas, a resident of Parker County for many years, he was a retired carpenter, Baptist, and a Veteran.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2006, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Memory Gardens.
He is survived by wife, Mary Woods of Weatherford; daughters, Cathy Owen of Weatherford and Kristy Preston of Irving; son, Randy Woods of Weatherford; grandchildren, Mason Owen, John Thomas Woods IV, Chuck Brown, and Mindy Wells; and four great grandchildren.
