John E. Russell

  John “Rusty” Erskine Russell, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 73. He passed away peacefully, while under the care of hospice, surrounded by family and friends.

  Rusty was born on February 3, 1953 to Erk and Jean Russell, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Don Russell.

  He is survived by his wife, Pam, his children: Brian and Monique Faros, Jill and Mario Zavala, Angie and Dennis Maher, Audrey and Rob Stewart and Charlee Russell, his eight grandchildren and his dog and most loyal companion, Annie. He is also survived by his brother, Jay Russell, and his family, and cousin, Jo Ellen Bradley Jones.
