John R. Hester went to be with the Lord Jesus, on September 23, 2007, from his home in Aledo.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Melinda; five loving children, Joel Hester of Dallas, Jason Hester of San Jose, California, Katy Grantham and husband, Drew of Austin, Jordan Hester and Jackson Hester, both of Aledo; granddaughters, Delaney and Addyson; mother and father-in-law, Ava and Wilson McPherson of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Patsy McPherson of Houston; extended family and many loving friends.
Memorial service is Saturday, September 29, at 3:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Aledo.
An account has been set up at Weatherford National Bank, Aledo for the John Hester Family Memorial and Scholarship Fund.
