John Loyd Smith, 88, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020. He was born March 4, 1931, in Midlothian, Texas, to Arthur and Virgie Bridges Smith. John was a minister and a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Bean.
John is survived by his wife of 70 years, Erlene Kirk Smith; daughter, Cheryl Hughes; sister, Betty Gibson; grandchildren, Roy Smith, Michelle Hayes, Tara Woody, Micah Hughes and Azure Hartzo; as well as six great grandchildren.
